There are numerous reasons that you can’t make it to the gym today or why you just can’t workout today. I get it. We all live busy lives but what I can’t stand is seeing lazy people complain that they aren’t in shape but they don’t take steps to improve their body.

So I wanted to talk about the reasons why holding a gym membership is beneficial to you.

When There’s Nothing Else To Do

If your gym is relatively close by; it doesn’t matter what time it is because chances are, it’s going to be open. 24 hour gyms are becoming more and more popular because we all live busy lifestyles. So the next time you’d rather lounge on the couch stuffing your face with potato chips; instead go to the gym!

Not only are you turning your boredom into a positive change. Each trip to the gym is one step closer to landing yourself a sexy Victoria’s Secret lingerie model to have as the woman in your life.

Besides; not only will you feel better about yourself but you’ll also be giving your body a chance to live longer.

Gym Memberships Can Be Free

You may be thinking I’m crazy but there are more people in the same position that they can’t afford a gym membership because their health insurance premium costs too much. Well, did you know that most health insurance companies will help you pay for your gym membership?

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and they are willing to pay for $50 of my gym membership. Luckily, my membership only costs $20 so my membership is absolutely free! Make sure to check in with your health insurance provider to see what they can do for you.

Cut Down On The Cravings

When you have insane food cravings that you absolutely can’t shake, then maybe it’s time to head to the gym to make sure you’ll keep yourself busy during that period of having a craving. Cravings are simply short spurts of time where your body wants you to ingest said craving.

Well, it only takes about 5 minutes for a craving to pass through your system and then your mind will move something else in its place. But the 5 minutes seems like such a long period of time when you are watching tv or bored that it’s a necessity that needs to be taken care of.

The best thing to do during those craving periods is to simply go work out. Chug a glass or a bottle of water and enjoy an intense workout. The harder you work out, the more you’ll forget about the craving.

If you still have the same craving after the gym; indulge in a small portion of it. You’ve burned some calories anyway so why not enjoy a treat,
