Who doesn’t love Big Bird? Well, what about the man who is the bird? That would be Caroll Spinney, who has been playing Big Bird for over 40 years. Why? He says he, “Just can’t give it up.” Can you blame him? This guy has influenced more children than any teacher could ever dream of, and it was all brought to you by PBS! However, he is finally getting his dues.
