Allan Law knows how to change lives.  He has been doing it for nearly 50 years of his own.  A retired teacher, Law puts in more hours now as a one man delivery service on the streets of Minneapolis.  His work has won him awards, but it’s not important to Law.  According to him, helping the homeless is what he must do for the rest of his life.

He delivers more than food and clothes, as it is really a matter of providing compassion for those who need it the most, Law believes.  Every night, sleeping in his car, defying his doctors, Law continues his duties simply out of his innate need to help.  The lesson here is to know when to put the needs of others before your own, just don’t forget number one every once in a while though.
