These Homeless Activists Just Got a Place to Stay For the Winter Thanks to Two Very Generous Men

By Jack Day

Usually when homeless people squat in a building the authorities are called to get them out. But in this compassionate story about a group of homeless activists called the Manchester Angels, the reverse has happened.

The building in question is owned by Manchester United football stars Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs, who upon learning about the occupation extended an offer to the group to stay through the winter. It was the miracle that activist and organizer Wes Hall was hoping for.

“It was beyond belief, I just burst into tears.”

Watch the video to hear about the plans that Hall has for the building, the occupants, and the future of his crusade to fill the hole of what’s missing and needed to help the homeless of Manchester.

What do you think about this campaign of Hall’s? How about the football stars who have welcomed the activists? Please tell us your comments and share this incredible story with your friends and family.
