Animal rights activists Direct Action Everywhere staged a protest in a California where they held a mock funeral in the poultry’s resting place at a local grocery store. What isn’t talked about, is how the chickens felt about the farce they faced in their own personal belief system. While DAE seems to have their hearts in the right places when protesting human-on-chicken violence, what they failed to honor was the fact that chickens fall in line with the traditional Hinduistic belief of burning their dead. Colonel Sanders went on record to say they will not handle this insult lightly.
