Yes, Robots May One Day be Able to Feed You

By Richard K. Noots

Carnegie Mellon University may be the site where the robot revolution begins. For the past decade, scientists here have been working on a new way of creating functional robots. Each joint piece of their Serpent holds the ability to control the robot itself, gather data, and link with it’s other parts via ethernet. What does this mean? Well, for search and rescue, the possibilities are endless. For the rest of us, it means we better get used to robots being a staple of our lives. It could very well happen in our life time.

What’s your opinion on technology? Do you think it’ll help change the way we treat other people?
