With unity comes great strength that makes incredible and unthinkable things happen.

This dramatic footage captures an amazing moment when heroic commuters and bystanders gathered together and lifted a double-decker bus to help a trapped unicyclist.

The astonishing rescue effort of the crowd managed to move the 12-ton vehicle and free the man beneath one of its front wheels.

The collision happened on Thursday, May 28, around 6pm on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. The unidentified victim, who was in serious condition, was taken immediately to the hospital.
