Now this is an interesting story. 39 years ago, Ricky Jackson was sent to prison for a murder he didn’t commit based on the testimony of a twelve year old. Now, no one is blaming the child in this situation, as it’s only recently court psychologists have learned that kids have a tendency to unknowingly lie on stand (often). However, this sort of thing isn’t uncommon in our justice system, even today. Luckily Ricky is just happy to be free, but how many people have suffered and are suffering right now because of similar reasons?
