This Hand Transplant May Mean Bad News For the Prosthetic Market

Little Zion was a poor boy without hands and feet. The reason? A nasty infection that almost killed him managed to be staved off by removing what we all would consider the most important part of our limbs. However, that never deterred Zion. Instead, he continued to do all the normal things a kid should do. Play, run around, learn. His disability never affected his outlook in life. Now though, it’s all going to change. A successful hand transplant has given Zion new hands that will actually grow with him. What does this mean for us? Only time will tell.
