This Big-Hearted Doctor’s Mission to Help the Needy Is Evidence of Unconditional Love

By Anne Cacherell

What happens when a person is living way below poverty line and cannot even qualify for a healthcare?

This is where the team of big-hearted doctors with passion for helping people come in. Mission of Mercy volunteers like Dr. Ira Ehrlich, make it possible for people who fall through the cracks of the system to still get their prescriptions and see their doctors.

Founded in 1991 and launched in 1994, Mission of Mercy is an independent non-profit community organization that has been providing healthcare, dental care and prescription at no cost for the needy without any pre-qualifications. So, regardless if you’re uninsured, underinsured or caught between the strings of the faulty healthcare system, this group will make sure that you get the care that you need. Their headquarters is located in Pennsylvania and they now have 17 clinics scattered across the country.
