Whether or not you realize it, the internet has really changed how producers handle music. While many artists still get ripped off  by people they thought were supposed to help. While the medium of being able to produce, release and collect profits on your own music is still relatively new, it’s taking off even more thanks to popular artists speaking up against the music industry as a whole. What’s interesting is if you have a laptop and a music making program, you pretty much have everything you need to be a musician. So, if you put in all that work, why not get all of the profits?
