Work hard. Don’t quit. Be appreciative, be thankful, be grateful, be respectful. Never whine, never complain, and always keep a sense of humor. These were the “themes” that Michael Keaton grew up with in his house. All very simple, but endlessly important concepts to live by. In his recent acceptance speech at the Golden Globes, Keaton got emotional when recounting these memories and his family. He obviously lived by them as most people still consider him to be the best Batman there ever was, to which he made a new movie where his character is Birdman. There is that sense of humor part. The wisdom part is pretty good too.

What did you think of Keaton’s speech? Did you see Birdman? I know you’re secretly hoping for a Beetlejuice 2, right? Please share your thoughts and ideas on how to live a life Keaton style!
