Men commit suicide at a 3:1 ratio in comparison to women. Why? Well, no one is really sure. One comedian theorizes that it could be due to the fact that men in our culture aren’t brought up to experience and share emotions, it takes a huge toll on our psyche. It is true that men have this idea that it’s weak to have negative emotions, like depression or anxiety. Even worse, the low statistics of men in depression could cause those to feel more alienated, despite the fact that the only reason for the low number is no one is coming forward with their feelings. So, how do we change this?

We change the stigma, that’s how.
