Solar flares are pretty much a common occurrence in our star system. While many people think a solar flare could be what causes the world to end, they’re most likely wrong. Regardless, seeing this astronomical event is an amazing feat, and it does interact with the Earth’s Magnetosphere. This guy happens to pretty much explain everything you need to know, so don’t worry. I know you want more information as a budding little Carl Sagan, so go ahead and watch!
