College Basketball Contest Gets Schooled in Less Than Thirty Seconds

By Charlie DeWitts

Gustavo Angel Tamayo, Student at Bryan’s College, was selected for a simple basketball competition with a prize of 10,000 dollars. All he had to do was get a layup, a free throw, a three-pointer and a half-courter. Oh, and in less than thirty seconds. Oh, and he had a broken finger. So … Needless to say the odds were against him. Of course, his skills (luck?) prevailed and he’s now a little bit closer to crawling his way out of that crushing student loan debt. It definitely looks like he’s happy!

I can’t view the video, but from the sypnosis, that’s really cool. Good for Tamayo and I hope he puts his prize money to good use.

Wicked! For somwe reason, I really enjoy watching clips of impossible feats, sports or otherwise. Good for that kid, I hope it got him off to a decent start in life! Then again as a teenager, he probably spent it all on the weekend!
